The Cripps Hall Trust and Association relies on volunteers to help deliver events and services for its members, manage our assets and develop new initiatives as our membership’s needs grow. We normally meet three days a year to keep the CHA running and discuss what we should do next. Over the last few years we have developed a new website, held a 50th anniversary weekend, helped fund a portrait of the late Edward Cripps and awarded thousands of pounds worth of travel scholarships to Cripps students.
Interested? The CHA is currently looking to recruit new committee members to help take us forward, specifically from June we will have vacancies for:
· General Secretary
· Events Manager (2)
· Website Manager
· Newsletter Editor
To find out more about what these roles may entail please contact David Winter (email@example.com).
Can you contribute your time or expertise in other ways?
Perhaps formal involvement is not for you? We are also looking for volunteer members who have expertise and experience in a particular field to support current students. We are aiming to broaden the services the Association offers to include one of the most pressing focuses for current students; career choice. We would like to begin offering careers support, perhaps in the form of a workshop for current and former Cripps residents that are still studying at the University. If you feel you would be happy to volunteer your time to support such an initiative with your expertise, or would like to contribute in another way then please contact David Winter (firstname.lastname@example.org).
